Research and Projects

Current Project

"Isotopeneffekte bei der Selbstdiffusion und chemischen Diffusion von Lithium in Silicatgläsern und -kristallen"

Forschungsschwerpunkte

  • Currently involved in the research of Li-isotope diffusion phenomena in the alumosilicate systems. Main methods applied include Raman spectroscopy, UV-femtosecond laser ablation, impedance spectroscopy and XRD.
  • With an experience in the spectroscopic investigation technique using DAC for high-pressure induced structural changes in relaxor ferroelectrics.

Education

  • 2006–2009: Doctorate, University of Hamburg, Germany
  • 2001:Gemmology and Diamond Grading School, Gemmological Institute at Idar-Oberstein, Germany
  • 1996–2003: Engineering degree, University of Belgrade, Serbia

Specialized courses for young scientists

  • Diamond anvil cell techniques, Bayerisches Geoinstitut, Bayreuth, Germany
  • High pressure – high temperature mineral physics: Implications for Geosciences, Bressanone – Brixen, Italy
  • Laser heating at high pressures, Institut für Geowissenschaften, J.W.Goethe-Universität, Frankfurt-am-Main, Germany
  • Mathematical and Theoretical Crystallography, Gargnano, Italy
